Terms and Conditions of Hire – Maltby Skip Hire Ltd

Ownership: The hired skip remains the sole property of Maltby Skip Hire Ltd.

Collection Dates: You must inform Maltby Skip Hire Ltd of any changes. Failure to do so may result in a £20 call-out charge depending on location.

Same-Day Cancellation: A £24 fee applies if you cancel on delivery day, provided the skip has already left the depot.

Property Damage Reporting: You must immediately report any property damage caused during delivery or collection to Maltby Skip Hire Ltd.

Third-Party Actions: You must inform Maltby Skip Hire Ltd of any actions taken by third parties regarding the skip.

Security & Fly-Tipping: Drivers will place the skip safely. Once left, you are responsible for preventing theft, damage, or illegal fly-tipping.

Stolen Skips: Maltby Skip Hire Ltd reserves the right to charge you if the skip is stolen during the hire period.

Road Permits: If the skip is on a public road with a council permit, you must keep it lit and coned per traffic regulations.

Accidents & Repairs: You must report all accidents or damage. Maltby Skip Hire Ltd reserves the right to charge for any necessary repairs.

Location Restrictions: You must only use the skip at the agreed address. Do not move it without written consent from Maltby Skip Hire Ltd.

Overloading: You must not overload the skip. Maltby Skip Hire Ltd reserves the right to remove material to make the load safe for transit.

Waste Ownership: All waste becomes the property of Maltby Skip Hire Ltd once collected.

Prohibited Items: We strictly do not accept hazardous waste, liquids, tyres, fridges, freezers, oils, gases, asbestos, fibre board, or bitumen.

Fire Ban: Lighting fires inside the skip is strictly prohibited under any circumstances.

Driveway Liability: Maltby Skip Hire Ltd accepts no responsibility for weight-related driveway damage, such as sunken areas caused during collection.

Private Property Liability: Maltby Skip Hire Ltd accepts no responsibility for any damage caused during delivery or collection on private property.
